A Laptop for Holly to replace hers that just crashed so she can complete the school year

Posted Apr 9, 2021
Holly wishes for a new laptop to help her complete the school year. She had a computer but it just crashed and there is no way to fix it. This is a sincere need for Holly so that she can complete the school year strong. She goes to school in person half of the time and online the other half of the time. She has been begging and borrowing computers from friends to try to complete her work. Unfortunately, this is getting her behind and causing her to miss assignments and online attendance regulations. She must have her own laptop to complete the school year strong and pass her grade. She is a good student and has adjusted to using email, zoom, and other necessary platforms to connect and learn. This would really help save her school year!

Holly is 18 years old and lives in NC

Holly came into care during the COVID-19 pandemic. She has adjusted to a new way of life that has been very positive for her. Holly still struggles with self esteem, feeling self conscience about her appearance, and her confidence level. She is caring, loving, and just wants a chance to be accepted and to show others her best self. She loves reading, fashion, and having friends.

"Kymberly, I delivered Hollys new laptop to her and she cried when she got it. She said no one had ever done something like that for her before. It really meant a lot to her. Thank you so much for caring. Your kindness went way beyond meeting her need for school. We sincerely appreciate you! "
