A New Book for Carla to read over the summer for a school challenge

Carla wishes to pick out a fun book that she can read this summer. She hopes to find one that peaks her interest and one that she can really enjoy. Her teacher challenged her to find a good book to read over the summer. Carla can earn points for finishing the challenge when she returns to school in the fall and receive a special prize.
Carla is 17 years old and lives in NC
Carla loves dancing, dressing up, and singing in her room. Her favorite colors are green and purple. Carla is an excellent student and loves helping with younger children. She is still adjusting to foster care; but is feeling relieved to be safe.
