As a former foster youth herself, Lidia has now become an advocate for foster youth and former foster youth. As a Case Manager she works day in and day out to create a better world for those who are in the foster care system. She will absolutely change the world. She has overcome obstacles that make her accomplishments even more incredible. A quote from Lidia herself " I enjoy reminding others who have been through similar circumstances that the key to living a righteous, fulfilling life is a good education and the knowledge that you are worthy of love and assistance."

Lidia just graduated with her Bachelor's Degree and she is so extremely proud of herself for not giving up! She has always dreamed of traveling, but growing up in foster care didn't allow for those kinds of dreams to come true. Lidia is determined to break that cycle and allow herself new experiences. Taking this vacation means giving herself the opportunity to make new memories and celebrate all of her accomplishments! She recently started therapy, and what she's learned is that she needs to be kinder to herself. Let's send Lidia on the trip of a lifetime!
