Camo Muck Boots for Dalton to wear on all his woodsy adventures

Dalton, 20 years old

Wish submitted by:

Foster Parent Association of Wilkes

Dalton is a shy young man who enjoys fishing, hiking, and spending time outdoors. He has aged out of the foster care system and likes to run, play ball, and hang out with friends. He always has plenty of energy and is ready for activities! Sometimes, school can be challenging for him, but he is putting in a good effort to do his best and learn. Dalton comes from a sibling group of 11, which has been separated by the foster care system. He is currently enrolled in a college welding program.

Dalton wishes for a new pair of Camo muck boots. His current boots have bit the dust and begun to fall apart. This type of boot is important to him because he regularly takes walks in the woods and creek. Dalton really connects with nature and being outside helps him cope with life. It is part of his routine to walk a certain path as soon as the sun comes up every morning near his house. He often does this in the afternoon too. Walking around in nature helps him think, decompress, and deal with life.

"Hi Dalton! When I read that you hiking boots were falling apart it made me feel sad, as a fellow hiker I know how important good boots are. I hope you have many peaceful hikes in these boots. Hiking is one of my favorite things to do too and I'll be wishing you well every morning knowing that you're in comfy boots when you go on your walks. Sending my love all that way from Massachusetts. Keep on adventuring <3 "
