Christian just found out he was diagnosed with scoliosis which has shattered his dreams of being a swimmer for his school's team. Christian has been extremely depressed and shut down. He has a bleak outlook on life right now but his team is encouraging him to focus on the positive. Christian has always enjoyed gaming, and now he is thinking he wants to be a professional gamer. Since he won't be able to swim professionally, Christian is pivoting to a new goal. For Christmas, he would love to have a Nintendo Switch so that he can master some new gaming skills and challenge his brain. Granting this wish will cheer Christian up and show him he has a support system that cares about him.
Christian is 14 years old and lives in TX
Christian is a young man who just found out he was diagnosed with scoliosis. Christian has been extremely depressed and shut down completely. Christian has given up hope on being a swimmer for his school team. Christian has disclosed that he now wants to be a professional gamer. Christian has been placed at a Residential Treatment Center since April 2021. He has had a difficult time adjusting to the program due to feeling unwanted by his family but he is doing his best to grow and overcome his challenges.
