Mecklenburg County Guardian ad LitemDanny is a great teen who is technologically very savvy and loves playing video games as well as watching YouTube videos about basketball. He is very good at sports and wants to pursue basketball as he gets older. He loves basketball and is a Golden State Warriors fan. He enjoys listening to rap and uses music as a coping mechanism when things get tough for him. He is getting very interested in learning to draw and has taken books out of the library on how to draw the human figure. He also likes origami and finds it helps him when he gets stressed. If his dream career in the NBA doesn’t come true, he would like to work with computers.
Danny struggles with peer interactions but likes music and finds it helps as a coping mechanism. He has asked for an MP3 player so that he can listen to the radio as well as his own choice of music. He is at an age when many of his peers have smart phones and though he doesn't, an MP3 player will help him cope if he gets frustrated and will make him feel more like other kids his age.
