Shakiya states she could use more under clothes to feel her best. Since basketball season has started, she has dropped a some weight from the summer and would love to have some nice fitting undergarments to feel comfortable in and not be self-conscious. These would last her a long time and allow her to move easily during basketball.

Shakiya has been in foster care for just a short while, and loves basketball! She is on her school's girls' basketball team. She is very studious, and knows she has to be to be able to play basketball. She would like to go on to college, but hasn't decided where. She is interested in getting a basketball scholarship to help her through college. Shakiya is friendly and kind, but tends to want to stay out of the drama that she feels others find themselves in. She likes to keep her room neater vs. cluttered, claiming herself a "neat freak".
