Shakiya will be heading to college in the fall. She is wanting to sort through her stuff and put up some stuff in storage and take the rest for college. She is wanting bins to put her stuff in and keep it safe. With this wish Shakiya will be able to feel organized and safe during this period of transition.
Shakiya is 19 years old and lives in NC
Shakiya has been in foster care for just a short while, and loves basketball! She is on her school's girls' basketball team. She is very studious, and knows she has to be to be able to play basketball. She would like to go on to college, but hasn't decided where. She is interested in getting a basketball scholarship to help her through college. Shakiya is friendly and kind, but tends to want to stay out of the drama that she feels others find themselves in. She likes to keep her room neater vs. cluttered, claiming herself a "neat freak".
