Kris is an adventurous and intelligent person. He loves spending time outdoors, whether it’s swimming in the summer or building snowmen and having snowball fights in the winter. Having lived in foster care for several years, he has faced challenges being separated from his mother and siblings, which has left him grappling with feelings of grief and loss. To cope, he often turns to his imagination. Video games like Minecraft provide him a way to socialize with friends and express his creativity by solving puzzles and designing new worlds. Kris is also eager to learn. When given the right support at school, he truly shines and shows his potential. With a big heart, he’s generous and caring towards others, though he can sometimes struggle to manage his anger. However, he’s always willing to recognize when he’s made a mistake and seeks to make things right. Ultimately, Kris is a young man who needs patience, understanding, and, above all, to know that he matters in this world and is loved.

Kris recently moved into a new foster home and will be starting a new school in a few weeks. He is a little nervous and wants to be fully prepared for what the new year will bring. One thing he knows is that Middle School will require lots of extra supplies...including a laptop. He would love a new backpack that will keep all his stuff safe and organized!
