Our beloved annual Thanksgiving Feast-i-val is BACK for the first time since 2019! Every November, The Felix Organization hosts a Thanksgiving Feast for 100 foster youth from New York City. Many of the children we serve have been displaced from their homes and separated from their loved ones. They look forward to attending this event every year because it creates a sense of support and community during the holidays, which can be a particularly difficult time for foster youth. At the party, the kids enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving meal at Hill Country Barbecue restaurant in Manhattan surrounded by friends and family, listen to music with a Live DJ, dance, create a unique art project, and watch a live performance by our co-founder, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels. They also get balloon animals and face-painting by Kooky the Clown and a goody-bag full of books, gifts, and a yummy snack on the way out. Please be a Thanksgiving angel and help us provide this fun and caring experience for Jeter.
