Throughout Raylene's time in the foster care system, one of the best ways she found comfort and stability was through practicing makeup. It helped her fight through depression and made her feel more confident to handle the traumatic situations she was put through. Raylene's dream is to take her talent that she has worked hard to craft, and give it to other women with the hope of providing them the same confidence she was able to give herself. After finishing her current schooling, she is applying to attend San Bernardino Beauty College to obtain her certificate. She wants to make a name for herself in this industry. In order to do so, she is trying to save up to buy the items she needs for beauty school and to prepare her application materials, but given that she is currently working hard in school, it has been difficult. Once she has this studio makeup case, she can further her educational dreams and bring joy to others through her talent.
