Asami is remarkable and known for her strength and resilience. She entered care at just two weeks old due to severe abuse and wasn't expected to survive. Asami is deaf in one ear and blind in one eye, and she has cerebral palsy from a traumatic brain injury. She cannot walk and needs constant care and medical support. Despite her challenges, Asami has already made incredible progress and inspires those around her. Her ongoing needs require specialized assistance for daily activities.

Asami is a sweet toddler who loves to relax, watch her favorite shows, and be near her family. Because of her physical disabilities, sitting on a tall couch can be unsafe and uncomfortable for her. A toddler-sized recliner would give Asami a safe, supportive, and comfortable place of her own to sit and enjoy TV time. This special chair would help her relax, feel included in family time, and have more independence in her daily routine.
