TJ is a joyful young boy who is figuring out who he is. TJ has recently discovered a love of sports and would love to practice and join a team. Sports help TJ to work through his emotions that he struggles to understand. TJ has been in foster care for the majority of his life and has spent time in numerous foster homes and residential treatment as he is trying to learn how to work through his trauma. Despite his struggles, he is a wonderful young man who is always trying to look forward and find things in life that bring him joy.

TJ has fallen pretty far behind in school and with his reading skills due to changing schools so often when he moved foster homes. TJ wants to learn how to read, but it is hard for him to enjoy reading because he has had such a hard time at school with it. These 24 beginning reading books will be great for TJ because they are all about the things that he is most interested in- Star Wars, Spider-Man, The Avengers, and more! TJ will have fun learning how to read these books because it will give him the chance to read new stories about his favorite superheroes. TJ will be so happy to open these books on Christmas morning!
