Meet Raven - a unique blend of creativity and practicality. She has a talent for creating beautiful art pieces while also being highly organized and following detailed schedules. Raven's leadership skills are evident wherever she goes, whether it's on campus, in her local community, or on a statewide level. Her post-graduation plans include opening an art studio that offers trauma resources, counseling referrals, and empowers participants to use art as a healing tool.

When Raven first entered foster care, having access to a bicycle helped her cope with her emotions. Being able to travel from one place to another, with the wind on her face, gave her a sense of freedom and a modicum of control. As a teen, Raven spent her first paycheck on purchasing her own bicycle. Sadly, that bike has been stolen. Raven has no car, and the cost of bus passes tends to add up over time. As Raven prepares to transition out of college, she has to change jobs, move to a new apartment, and adapt to many transitions. Having a bike would help lessen the transportation burden, and having an accompanying bike lock would help to keep it safe.
