Guardian ad litem PAAlayna is a bright strong child who is living with her siblings at her great-aunt's house. She has been there since being removed from her neglectful parents. Alayna is learning to be a kid without letting go of her desire to protect her siblings. With the support of her great aunt and that family Alayna has been able to overcome the negative start that her parents' drug use had on her schooling, and is using therapy to process her parents not visiting the siblings. Alayna loves dancing, softball, and her new group of friends.
Alayna is a typical tween who loves social media, selfies, and videos. She has had a big year going through fifth grade and made some amazing softball plays. She'd like to be able to capture those memories and keep up with her writing progress through the summer and a fun journal would help her do that!
