Catholic CharitiesLismar is a cheerful, hardworking, and resilient young woman from Venezuela. She is eager to attend school, learn English, and hopes to pursue a career in nail art someday. Lismar finds joy in unicorns, rainbows, and the color yellow, as they remind her that there is always light and color at the end of even the darkest days.
Lismar recently started a GED and English as a Second Language program at a local school. She recently received her work permit, and her goal is to learn and be able to communicate in English fluently. She also wishes finish school and get her nail technician certification. With this gift Lismar will be able to study, take her GED, and apply for jobs.
