Malcolm is a bright, determined young man with a love for basketball. Although he has some developmental delays, he has never let that stand in the way of his goals. After spending time in foster care, he is now living in a supervised Independent Living Program while continuing to build his future. Malcolm has been accepted to play basketball at a university and is working hard toward earning his college degree. He dreams of one day playing in the NBA and is committed to doing everything he can to make that dream a reality. His perseverance, positive attitude, and dedication continue to inspire those around him.

Malcolm works very hard this year to stay on track and graduate high school. Malcolm didn't think he would graduate on time because he was behind in a couple of his classes. But with his hard work and dedication to his studies, he was able to meet the deadline and pass all of his tests. Allowing Malcolm and his siblings to have dinner together for his graduation would really be the best graduation gift.
