A bicycle for Dana, who can't wait to sing in the middle school chorus

A distant relative of Dana’s agreed to provide a home for her, and she’s now living in a house with a yard, sidewalks, and nearby parks. She is free to be a child for the first time in her life and would love nothing more than to have a bicycle of her own to ride freely. This will help her continue to explore here new home and make connections with her community!
Dana is 12 years old and lives in GA
Dana has encountered a tremendous amount of trauma in her young life. Dana’s father passed away, and her mother was unable to care for her, so she lived with her grandmother. Tragically, Dana’s grandmother also passed away, and she ended up in the foster care system. Despite exposure to substance abuse, domestic violence, and many other traumas, Dana is a beautiful young lady, with bright hopes for her future. She loves gymnastics, and loves to sing, and although she is nervous about starting middle school in September, she’s very excited about joining the school chorus.
