Nadine was removed from her home because her caregiver, who has been diagnosed with dementia, was absent. As a young adult, Nadine finds it challenging to interact with unfamiliar people in the community. Despite this, she has dreams of working in real estate and is determined to improve her communication skills to achieve this goal.

Nadine struggles with socialization and getting out of the house. She also has severe dietary restrictions, but her favorite place to go that can accommodate them is Nekter Juice Bar. She is working on getting out of the house, and her social interactions and she has even routed public transportation to a nearby Nekter Juice Bar, which is helping her work on her independent living.
