Tumuatasi is involved with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and has been reunified with her mother. However, the family is currently facing homelessness. Tumuatasi is the oldest of four children and enjoys cooking for her family. She likes listening to music, spending time with friends, and is skilled at origami.

Tumuatasi is an artistic and humorous 8th-grade teenager. She and her family have been evicted from their home and are currently living in their car. After losing their family home, Tumuatasi has lost many of her belongings, including her clothing. She finds it difficult to keep track of her socks since they are always on the move. As winter approaches, Tumuatasi would greatly appreciate more socks for Christmas to keep her warm and to wear to school, where she wants to express her sense of style. She is looking for basic socks that can match all her outfits and socks that reflect her creative and fun personality.
