Growing up, he was raised in the home of a close friend of his birth mother, where he learned the importance of resilience and perseverance. Despite these challenges, he has worked hard to turn his life around. Today, Jamond has secured employment and has taken the important step of moving into a place of his own. As an adult, Jamond has also begun reconnecting with several siblings from his father’s side of the family. One of the most difficult moments in his life was the loss of the sister he was closest to, who sadly passed away after battling cancer. Although this loss was deeply painful, Jamond continues to move forward with strength and determination. Jamond has a generous heart and enjoys helping others whenever he can. In the winter, he often shovels snow for neighbors and refuses to accept payment, simply wanting to make their day easier. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games with friends and spending time outdoors. Jamond has personal goals for his future and hopes to continue working toward earning his GED so he can create more opportunities for himself.
