A dream vacation for Shyrah who missed feeling like part of a family during her time in the group home

Arizona's Children AssociationShyrah is a senior in high school and is excited to attend college in the fall of 2025. She has been a member of the golf team for all four years of high school and hopes to receive a scholarship for her sport. Shyrah has been living in her current group home for a year but will be moving in with a foster family after Christmas. She is very organized, independent, and responsible. Recently, she started a new job and works occasionally at a local coffee shop.
Shyrah really enjoys going on trips, but ever since she moved to a group home last January, she’s been missing that family connection. Her new foster family is excited to be going on a trip to Cancun at the beginning of January and they want her to join them. Since this is a new placement, they didn't have a chance to save for the ticket so Shyrah is really hoping that she can have this wish granted to help cover her flight. They truly want her to have this adventure together.
