Daniel is a transition-age foster youth who is passionate about his art, music, and community. He started his music career at 18 and has worked hard to produce mixtapes and songs that reflect his deep emotions and experiences, often drawing on his time in foster care for inspiration. Daniel is currently learning coding and dreams of starting his own business to support other foster youth in need.

Daniel has to move out of his friend's house by Monday, January 20th, to make space for some relatives who recently lost their home in the Eaton fire. He’s been working hard to find a permanent place through a subsidized housing program, but in the meantime, he’ll be couch surfing with friends for the next couple of weeks, which can be a bit challenging. To help him during this transitional period, he is reaching out for support and asking for a Target gift card. This would allow him to purchase some essentials, snacks, and hygiene products he might need to ensure he stays comfortable while he navigates this situation. Every little bit of help will go a long way in making this tough time a bit easier for him.
