Malcolm is a bright, determined young man with a love for basketball. Although he has some developmental delays, he has never let that stand in the way of his goals. After spending time in foster care, he is now living in a supervised Independent Living Program while continuing to build his future. Malcolm has been accepted to play basketball at a university and is working hard toward earning his college degree. He dreams of one day playing in the NBA and is committed to doing everything he can to make that dream a reality. His perseverance, positive attitude, and dedication continue to inspire those around him.

Malcolm has a birthday coming up next month and has already begun planning for his special day. He will celebrate by having a big party in his backyard. Malcolm loves the movie Cars, and his favorite character is Lightning McQueen. He has requested a light blue car set to add to his collection. Since his kinship placement, Malcolm has been doing great in school. He is currently living with his great aunt and uncle, and he is flourishing in their care. However, his foster parents are on a budget and have asked for assistance in purchasing some of Malcolm's birthday wishes.
