Donja's foster mother is facing significant financial challenges while caring for six children. During these difficulties, Donja had been struggling with behavioral issues, but everything changed when she started running. Now a member of her middle school track team, running has become a vital outlet for Donja, allowing her to release anger and stress in a positive way. This newfound passion is especially meaningful to her as it not only makes her feel good but also connects her with supportive team members.
