Darius entered foster care at age five and experienced instability before moving to group homes. Although he sometimes finds it hard to connect with others, he is thoughtful, kind, and genuine. As he prepares to move into his first apartment through the Independent Living Program (ILP), he has a passion for music, technology, gaming, and learning new skills. His perseverance and quiet ambition make him unique.

Growing up in foster care, he never had the chance to ask for gifts beyond basic necessities, so he stopped wishing for more. He wants a PlayStation to explore his love for technology and gaming and connect with others. Making friends in person has been tough for him, but online gaming could help him build a community and share fun experiences.
