Jax is a sweet boy whose smile lights up the room. Like most children his age, he loves Paw Patrol, Cocomelon, and Sesame Street. However, Jax is different because he has been diagnosed with autism, a sensory disorder, and a speech delay. For him, every day is a struggle to find ways to communicate with his family in a way they can understand. Jax experienced a breakthrough when he spoke his first word at the age of five; his first word was "mama."

Jax doesn't talk much and knows a few words, but he always brings a smile. Recently, his family had a tough time and lost their home, so now he's living with his granddad while his parents save up for a new place. His mom works as a home health aide. Jax dreams of spending a fun day playing video games and enjoying time with his mom and dad at Dave & Busters for his birthday. It would mean the world to him and give them a chance to bond as a family.
