Cayden has been in the custody of Child and Youth Services. He is an avid reader and is learning to try new experiences, such as sleepaway camp, swimming, baseball, and visiting new places with his foster parents. He is making friends in his neighborhood and at his new school. Cayden loves the dogs that live in his home and has enjoyed getting to know the chickens and collecting their eggs! He is a planner and a thinker, aspiring to become a meteorologist when he grows up. To start on that path, he has already decided to attend community college.

***Thanks to a few amazingly generous supporters who are underwriting the cost of select wishes, this wish is just $25 – today and tomorrow only!*** Cayden wishes for a mountain bike for his birthday, which would be his first new bicycle. He is excited to ride it this summer with friends from his foster home. Before entering foster care, he moved around a lot, leaving many of his belongings behind. Having a new bike in a safe home means a lot to him. Although Cayden never complains about his past, he shines with joy when he receives something special. He had to take care of his younger siblings, which made him grow up fast. Now, he hopes to enjoy childhood moments, like owning a bike, which he has always wanted but never had the chance to experience.
