Ellie entered foster care because of her family's substance abuse problems. Although she missed living with her mom, her foster home has been a positive change. She now gets to enjoy being a kid and participate in activities she didn’t have the chance to do before. While there, Ellie has also focused on her health and discovered some medical concerns, and she is facing these challenges with determination and is working towards becoming stronger and healthier.

Ellie has been remarkably positive and upbeat about her upcoming surgery. She understands that she will be homebound for a while and would love to have a TV stand like this one. It would allow her to set up her new TV and watch her favorite shows during her recovery. She appreciates that this stand includes drawers for storage. Having something like this to come home to after her hospital stay will certainly lift her spirits!
