Andrea is a former teen mom of two children who has faced significant challenges in her life, including domestic violence and divorce. Despite these hardships, she remains dedicated to her goals. Recently, she earned her Associate's Degree and is now transferring to a Bachelor's degree program. Less than 2% of teen moms earn a degree by age 30, and she is determined to surpass that statistic! With the demands of her Bachelor's program, her ability to work is limited, and finances are very tight. Like all dedicated mothers, she prioritizes her children's needs above her own.

Andrea shared how she is taking care of herself amidst various challenges, including financial difficulties and family issues. She expressed her desire to return to creating art, as it has been therapeutic for her in the past. Doing so would allow her to purchase painting supplies, which would support her mental well-being during this time.
