Equipping the Called Foster and Crisis Closet

Chloee entered foster care at the age of 10 after being removed from her biological family due to issues related to substance abuse and domestic violence. After a difficult and abusive placement with her grandparents, she was moved to a traditional foster home. Chloee and her foster family are now beginning the lengthy process of adoption. A while back, she attended a week-long church camp, which sparked her growing interest in art.

Chloee has been diagnosed with depression and anxiety, and she is currently in therapy. To help cope with these issues, she has turned to art. Occasionally, she is able to borrow an iPad, which she enjoys using for various art and design programs. Creating art gives her a considerable sense of pride, and any encouragement in this area would be greatly appreciated. Like most teenagers, Chloee also enjoys relaxing by watching movies or YouTube videos. The YouTube videos are particularly helpful for her in exploring new areas of art.
