Destiney was born positive to substances. She has struggled to meet her milestones and has some developmental delays. She loves being near her big sister and always has a bright smile on her face. Destiney was removed from her parents' care due to domestic violence and physical abuse of her siblings, and then was placed with a relative who overdosed while with them. She unfortunately has not been able to have proper medical care, but hopefully, now she will be able to start receiving services to catch up with some of her medical and developmental needs.

Destiney was removed from a relative's home after experiencing an overdose, and when she left, she had nothing with her. She is currently behind in her skills and is just beginning to walk independently. She needs sturdy shoes that will provide good support for her ankles. Her physical therapist will fit her for appropriate shoes that will accommodate the braces she will eventually receive to help support her legs.
