Nyie Nyi currently resides in a foster home after facing numerous challenges in her young life. Despite the difficulties she has overcome, she is flourishing in her new placement and has adjusted well to her school environment. However, she faces a significant obstacle: there is no transportation available for her to get to and from school. Each day, she walks approximately 45 minutes, carrying a heavy backpack in extreme heat that can reach up to 113°F. This daily trek is exhausting and takes a toll on her well-being. In hopes of alleviating this burden, Nyie Nyi dreams of receiving an electronic scooter, which would greatly ease her commute and allow her to focus more on her studies and new experiences.
