Jay'mee has been in foster care since she was 11 years old, after her mother was involved in a serious accident that left her unable to care for Jay'mee and her siblings. Since entering foster care, Jay'mee has struggled to adjust to new foster parents and has been placed in several different foster homes. To address her life issues and feelings about being separated from her mother, Jay'mee participated in individual therapy. She has benefited from this therapy and has overcome many of her past struggles related to her mother's absence. Jay'mee has a passion for hairstyling, art, and fashion. In June 2025, she graduated from high school and is now attending cosmetology school.

Jay'mee is currently attending vocational training school to learn cosmetology, and she is in need of a computer to complete her class assignments effectively. A laptop would also greatly assist her in conducting online research for her studies. Unfortunately, Jay'mee is not employed at the moment, which means she lacks the financial means to purchase a laptop. By providing her with a laptop, we can significantly enhance her chances of success in school and support her educational journey.
