Kay is an outgoing young lady whose life changed dramatically when she came into care during COVID-19. Despite the challenges, she has shown remarkable resilience and has worked hard to adjust to her new circumstances. A dedicated student, she maintains good grades while also enjoying her favorite sports, including swimming, volleyball, and track. Kay has a vibrant personality, reflected in her favorite color, teal, and her passion for drawing. Recently, she got a new kitten, which has become a source of comfort for her, especially since she wasn’t allowed to have pets before entering foster care. Caring for her appearance and practicing good hygiene are important to Kay, as she values self-expression and confidence. Additionally, she loves helping others; interacting with people makes her feel like she truly belongs. Through her kindness and determination, Kay is not only navigating her new life but also thriving in it.

Kay is getting ready for independent living and needs a mattress for her new bed. Having a comfortable place to rest will be important for her. A mattress with extra hip and lumbar support would be perfect for Kay. She hopes to move into her apartment before Thanksgiving and feels a mix of excitement and nervousness about this new chapter in her life.
