AJ is a kind boy who was living in kinship foster care with his grandmother until her health began to decline. He has since been placed in a traditional foster family along with his little brother and is adjusting well to this new situation. AJ performs well in school and has recently discovered a passion for music. He takes guitar lessons weekly, which is helping him tremendously with his overall transition.

AJ has started taking guitar lessons and discovered that playing music helps him manage his emotions better. He currently practices on his foster mom's old guitar, which has seen better days. Despite its age, he appreciates having access to an instrument to explore his passion. However, AJ dreams of owning a guitar of his own, which he hopes would enhance his playing experience. Having a personal guitar would mean a lot to him, giving him a sense of ownership and allowing him to express himself more freely.
