Josh was taken from his mother due to issues with supervision and unsafe living conditions. He and his brother were briefly reunited with her, but they were removed again after she was arrested for abuse and neglect. He and his brother have been placed in three different pre-adoptive homes, but those placements unfortunately failed. Now an adult, Josh lives on his own and is working to balance work, school, and having fun. He enjoys basketball and spending time with friends.

Josh is currently working fewer hours at his job. He will not receive SNAP benefits this month due to the government shutdown, which means he will need extra money for groceries and food.
