Kayla was raised by her grandmother for most of her life until her grandmother became ill and was unable to care for her. Over the past few years, she has been in multiple living situations that have not worked out for her. Kayla is always willing to help friends in need and loves to sing and cook when she has the opportunity. She envisions herself working in a nursing home or with the elderly in the future.

Kayla has a birthday in January, and food is her love language. She would enjoy being able to go out to a restaurant with a friend to celebrate her birthday. She hasn't had the easiest 2025, but is hopeful that 2026 will bring her some peace and align her with her goals for the future of obtaining her high school diploma and getting a job where she can begin to prepare for independence. Getting the chance to have a special celebratory dinner would be wonderful!
