Sarah has aged out of foster care and realizes how hard it is to make it without support from her community and team of people that wants to see her succeed. She is interested in and thinking about college for the future, but has to work and support herself currently. She wants to do well and keeping close relationships with her siblings is very important to her.
Sarah is looking forward to a trip to the grocery store, hoping to stock her cupboards for the winter. With the unpredictability of the season, she wants to make sure she has enough no-cook, nonperishable foods to rely on in case her electricity goes out. However, she’s also mindful of her tight budget and could use a little extra support during this time.
