Ezra is in a new placement with a new family this year and started at a new high school in a different state. It was a tough transition, but he recently joined a Christian group and he has made some good friends through that group. He enjoys playing soccer, drawing and painting. He is very proud that he recently got his driver’s license! Ezra has a job at a local car wash and has been saving money for a car. His grades are good, and he is hoping to go to a four-year college. After hearing a presentation from the military recruiter at his school, he is also considering entering the military or doing ROTC. For a career, he would like to do graphic design or be a physical therapist.

Last summer, Ezra faced a significant transition as he moved to a new state for his senior year of high school due to his foster dad's work transfer. Leaving behind his home environment was challenging, especially since he is now a plane ride away from his siblings, including his twin brother. Although Ezra is adapting well and thriving in his new surroundings, he deeply misses his brother. As his birthday approaches, all he wishes for is the chance to visit his family. Unfortunately, his social worker has informed him that the department does not have the funds available for a plane ticket, and driving such a long distance for just a weekend isn't feasible. Therefore, this request will help cover the cost of the plane ticket, so he can reunite with his loved ones.
