Kay is a sweet girl who has been a victim of domestic violence. She and her mother had to relocate to escape her abusive father. Despite her young age, Kay is wise beyond her years due to having to be a support system for her mother. She also suffers from anxiety and PTSD. Despite her present situation, Kay is extremely resilient, and given time, she will heal. She just needs the opportunity to be a little girl.

Kay is incredibly excited about Easter! She loves participating in the Easter egg hunts and receiving chocolate bunnies at school. This year, Kay has been dreaming of a new dress that will flare out when she spins around. Having a new dress would not only boost Kay’s confidence but also make her feel truly special.
