Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption AssociationHezekiah is a sweet boy in foster care with his older brother. He loves to pet the family dogs and giggles endlessly when his big brother dances for him. Despite facing developmental delays, Hezekiah works hard in physical and occupational therapy to build his strength and skills so he can catch up with his peers. His determination and bright spirit shine through in everything he does.
Hezekiah needs chances to move, climb, and learn how to control his body as he grows. Kids his age are figuring out skills like pulling themselves up, walking around furniture, and climbing. When he practices these movements in different ways, it helps him get stronger, improve his balance, and coordinate better, which is important for reaching his milestones. The activity climber with a slide is great for Hezekiah. It lets him move, climb, step, reach, and slide. These activities not only support his physical therapy goals but also help him feel more confident in what he can do with his body. Plus, it keeps him engaged and interested. Kids like him do best with a mix of fun and repetition, so having an exciting activity means he’ll want to practice more. Instead of thinking of therapy as a chore, this climber makes it fun and motivating. It encourages him to play longer and more often. Including this climber in his daily routine gives him a way to support his growth while playing. It combines movement with fun, helping Hezekiah build strength, coordination, and independence while allowing him to explore and enjoy being active.
