Lyanla has spent a significant amount of time in and out of the foster care system. Her mother has passed away, and she hasn't seen her father in a couple of years. Currently, she is living in a non-relative resource home and is doing quite well. Lyanla is receiving the mental health support she needs and has a strong support system with her resource family.

Lyanla would love another pair of Crocs sandals, as they have become her favorite footwear. She absolutely loves how comfortable they are and hopes to get a new pair to complete her fun summer look. This spring is especially exciting for Lyanla, as she will be graduating from community college in May. She is incredibly proud of this accomplishment and can't wait to take the next step in her life’s journey.
