Damian has been through a lot, but he has stayed strong and focused. After many years in foster care, he didn’t let those challenges stop him. When he aged out, he set a goal to build a stable and independent life. He took a big step by going to school and finishing a program to become an automobile technician. Even though he hasn’t found a job in that field yet, he didn’t give up. He kept moving forward, earned his guard card, and now works as a security guard. Damian is now working toward joining the Army, something he is very excited about. He is looking forward to the structure, discipline, and new opportunities. No matter what challenges come his way, Damian stays focused on building a better future.

Since moving out on his own, Damian has been sleeping on an old foam pad that’s worn down over time and has become pretty uncomfortable and even painful. After long days of work, he doesn’t have a good place to rest and recharge. A twin mattress would make a big difference for him. It would give him a comfortable place to sleep so he can feel more rested and keep pushing toward his goals. This small change would mean a lot for his comfort and overall well-being as he continues working toward stability and success.
