Vincent aged out of the foster care system. Vincent came to the US from Puerto Rico without any familial support, causing him to enter foster care at age 6. Most of his life was spent in foster homes and transitional housing programs. Vincent has an awesome haircut and is interested in attending barber school in May. He currently attends Cuyamaca and is employed at Amazon. Vincent is studying computer science with a 3.8 GPA, planning to transfer to SDSU in the fall. Vincent loves luxury cars and is a fan of anime. Vincent attends men's leadership through Promises2Kids and is actively engaged in mentoring. Vincent is currently reading the bible and enjoys going on walks for his mental health. 

Vincent is asking for help paying for his car insurance because money has been tight with rising living costs and unexpected bills. He goes to school full time and works full time, doing his best to stay stable and support himself. He needs a reliable car to get to work and school, and having car insurance is required to do that legally and safely. Lately, it’s been hard for him to keep up with this expense. Vincent has been juggling rent, school costs, and transportation. When his financial aid was delayed, he had to pay for school out of pocket, which caused him to fall behind on his car insurance. Around the same time, his car needed major transmission repairs, which used up the rest of his savings. Help with this bill would give Vincent some relief right now. It would allow him to keep his car insurance, avoid further problems, and continue going to work and school without disruption. He expects his financial aid soon and plans to stay on track moving forward.
