Michelle is a very determined and motivated youth! She enjoys doing hair (braiding and styling), spending time with her friends, baking, caring for animals, and listening to music. Michelle is currently planning to continue her education while also preparing to transition into a transitional housing program as she works toward independence and stability. She has been accepted to Riverside Community College (RCC), and she is very motivated to work toward her future goals. Right now, she is focused on general education courses and thinking about either cosmetology or nursing for her major. She plans to use the iPad for coursework, projects, emailing, staying organized, tracking appointments, communication, research, resources, etc. I know it will be a very meaningful and useful resource for her during this transition into young adulthood. This accomplishment is very important and meaningful to her. Michelle has worked hard through many challenges, and this recognition is something she truly feels proud of. It’s an exciting opportunity that will help support both her personal growth and educational journey.

Michelle has shown consistent improvement in her school attendance and academic performance, demonstrating a stronger commitment to her education.
