Cheer camp for Penelope to have fun and develop friendships
Penelope, 10 years old, OH |
NEEDED BY 06/12
Wish submitted by:
Kindred Spirit Behavioral HealthPenelope has faced emotional challenges related to abandonment by her mother. These experiences have contributed to struggles with anxiety, self-esteem, and coping with difficult emotions. Despite these obstacles, Penelope continues to work hard to build her confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and learn positive ways to express her feelings. She is growing each day emotionally and is beginning to recognize her strength, value, and potential for a brighter future.
Penelope is a bright and enthusiastic young girl who has expressed a strong interest in attending cheer camp this summer. Unfortunately, the cost of participation creates a financial hardship for her family, making it difficult to provide this opportunity without assistance. Attending cheer camp would allow Penelope to engage in a positive and structured activity where she can build confidence, develop friendships, and strengthen her communication skills. She enjoys being around her peers and would benefit from the opportunity to interact with other children who share similar interests. Cheer camp would also encourage healthy physical activity through exercise, movement, and teamwork. Participating in camp would give Penelope an outlet for self-expression while helping her develop discipline, leadership skills, and a sense of accomplishment.
