Ash's journey through foster care was far from easy. Growing up without a stable family and often feeling unsupported, she faced many challenges that could have diminished her hope. Despite these hardships, Ash remained resilient, choosing to maintain a positive outlook and believe that a better future was possible. At 19 years old, Ash decided to leave California and start fresh in a new state with her brother. Determined to move past the negativity that had held her back, she embraced the opportunity to build a new life. Over time, she found supportive friends, obtained a good job, and began to discover who she truly wanted to be. Now, Ash is thriving. She is engaged to a wonderful man, and together they recently purchased a home, excited to begin this new chapter in their lives. Both are working hard toward their goals, and Ash hopes to return to school to continue building her future. After years of obstacles, she is finally experiencing the stability, happiness, and opportunities she worked so hard to achieve.

Ash would really appreciate a new TV stand. Through years navigating the foster care system, she never stopped working incredibly hard to build a stable and happy life. Her fiancé and her recently bought a house and costs have been adding up quickly due to purchasing essential furniture. Their TV currently sits on the floor, which carries the everyday risk of getting knocked over or damaged. Giving Ash a TV stand would do more than just tidy up her living room. It would take an expense off of her plate, while also giving her and her fiancé something they have earned but have not been able to prioritize.
