Indigo entered foster care at 7 and was adopted at 12. When she turned 18, her adoptive parents asked her to leave. A friend's family took her in for her final year of high school and gave her the stability she needed to graduate. She is now ready to move into her first apartment.

Indigo has spent the past year working and saving for this move. She is doing this on her own. A mattress would let her actually move into her apartment and make it feel like a home from the start. For someone who has had to fight for every bit of stability she has, starting this chapter with a real place to sleep is not small.
