After experiencing the tragic loss of her older sister due to gang violence, Amina and her baby were removed from their home due to safety concerns and her parents' inability to provide proper supervision and maintain stable housing. After being placed in foster care, Amina began a journey of healing. Despite her circumstances, she continued her high school studies and, as a testament to her perseverance, graduated early with straight As. Amina balances work and caring for her 3 year old child. She has recently struggled with hair loss and other symptoms of anxiety and would like to start a regimen of self care by gong to the gym consistently.

Amina has worked incredibly hard and recently completed her first semester of college, an achievement that reflects her determination, resilience, and commitment to building a bright future. To celebrate this milestone and her birthday, her foster parent, who is very proud of her accomplishments, is taking her on her first trip to Disney World. For her birthday, Amina is requesting a Disney gift card to enhance her experience by helping her purchase meals, souvenirs, and memorable activities during the trip. After overcoming various challenges and reaching an important educational goal, this gift would make her first Disney vacation even more magical and help create cherished memories that she will treasure for years to come.
